DOA. I forgot about this bottle and it was off the cliff. Dark gold in colour and an aroma that was beyond sherry. It was stored at 55°F for the last 10 years.

Popped and poured after chilling a bit below cellar temp. Golden color; lemon, orange, and perhaps butterscotch on the nose. On the palate quite ripe and thick but not at all sweet; does not have the tension and acidity of the best vintages of this wine; so far good but not great. As it warms this shows more acidity and cut, but it still doesn't have the definition I expect.

Craig's wine. Popped and poured. The color is a deep yellow. The nose proffers assertive aromas of citrus fruits, carmel, mineral and floral notes. Good complexity. On the palate this comes across as a heavier style with some oak noticeable, but great flavor presence from the attack through the long, ringing finish -- at least partially on account of the bracing acidity present throughout. I'm no expert on California Chardonnay, but enjoyed this immensely.

Oxidized. Second older Littorai chardonnay I've had recently that's been oxidized, both bought on the secondary market but from different sources.
