Acacia, guava, and tropical fruit nose. Some coconut as well. Nice medium intensity with good acid balance on taste. A long finish. This is aging nicely and I grabbed this one before full maturity. Very nice.

Birthday bash @ Bern's (Bern's Steakhouse (Tampa)): No detailed notes on this as we drank it at dinner. I remember thinking it was a heavier Riesling - very dry, but with strong floral component and the perception of fruit which led it to come across as a bit softer. Paired well with a lobster sushi roll. Overshadowed quite a bit by the wines that came after, but makes sense as they were also different price points.

A fuller Riesling, quite round. Bone dry, but with a strong core of fruit that came through giving it almost an impression of sweetness. Also a bit of saline through the long finish. Very nice wine, though I prefer a bit more acid in my riesling. This one is in a good place, so don't feel the need to hold it.

elegant, perfumed, citrusy, yet mineral backbone, rich yet still sharply delineated but balanced flavours. Drank over three days. No discernible deterioration by third day

This wine had an intense nose of red apples, ginger, sticks, and leaves. Initially, this was awkward with way too much heat on the mid-pallate and finish. After I let it sit for an hour or so it settled down and the wine was much more enjoyable. This is a big riesling with a medium to heavy body and flavors reminiscent of autumn/thanksgiving: baked apples, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and nutmeg. The finish is relatively long and dominated by dead leaves and twigs. This happened to pair phenomenally well with a chicken pot pie. In fact, this may have been one of the most enjoyable food-wine pairings I ever had. 90 +1 (for the excellent pairing).
