  After I decanted and the wine still didn't clear up in the nose, all four of use concluded that there was a light corkiness in the nose. But the wine was wonderful wine in the mouth.
  
  Went back to the wine left in the decanter the following day and there was no corkiness -- my original supposition of reduction was correct. While the wine is not as wonderful as the previous bottle, it is still excellent with pure peach and apricot fruit, power, still sweetness balanced by acidity. Cellared since original release.

  Cellared since release. This showed considerably better than bottle in 2013. Beautiful white peach aromas and flavors, still with good acidity. A complete confirmation of the greatness of the 1990 vintage in Germany.
