Has it gone over the top? Of course, but still this is a pleasure to drink for those fond of old wines. Brick coloured. Almost port-like aromas of tobacco, dried plums and raisins, warm earth and a hint of alcohol. Medium bodied to thin, has lost most of its fruit, mouthfeel dominated by tannins and acidity. A small sweet tone in the aftertaste is intriguing. Finishes rather quickly. A curiosity, but intriguing for lovers of old wines. Should have been at its peak ten years ago.

First smell and taste was still quite fresh with fruit, but soon it started tasting like wet cloth or cellar. Time has run over this one unfortunately.

Cork was in good shape, but this was a brett bomb, sadly. Tasted like a bad wine-barrel-aged sour beer.
