Delicious Chardonnay aroma with citrus, lychee and quite evident oak. Actually the oak feels more evident now than a year ago, with a rather woody bitterness finish. After two days in the fridge, still fresh, now with more lychee aromas. A good competitor for many Burgundy Village Chardonnay's.

Blind taste. Creamy nutty nose. Easy to guess chardonnay. Rich vanilla and citrus flavour. Medium to low acidity in terms of chardonnay. Very balanced and round. Perfectly comfortable. Impressed by its well polished structure and layer. Enjoy from the attack till the finish. Yummy.

Wine & Dine with Friedrich Becker (Restaurant Meister Lampe, Stuttgart): Glass: Stölzle Quatrophil White 16 month aged in French oak. Clear, pale yellow-golden color. Clean, medium intense and developing, wonderful nose with intense oak and earthy notes. Dry, 13,5% abv, medium+ body, stone fruits very well integrated oak, great potential, opens up with time and temperature. Needs time, so keep it away for another 2-3 years.

Delicious Chardonnay aroma with citrus and well integrated oak. Open, generous and easygoing. Lacks some structure and focus, but this is just lovely.
