Nat cork. Pale gold, clear and bright. Nice nose, although faint - golden/white fruits, flowers, bit honey, baked muffin or banana bread or something like that. Hint of lemon too. Picks up some oak on the palate with fruit bit less pronounced, full bodied with a creamy texture and lingering finish. Was nice.

Pinot Cafe: EWG. Nice brilliant yellow color; Wow, I wasn’t prepared for the splash of mineral smells this wine doled out on 1st whiff. Fantastic rocky minerals with underlying candied citrus fruits. Medium body for CA Chard, not oaky (apparently no new oak at all), with great earth tones mixed with “cinamon, and a hint of (the impression of) oak”. OK, I was already told there wasn’t any oak in this when I wrote that, but what I thought was interesting was the light sweet-spicey character I got out of it despite no oak. Excellent balance, great acidity/structure, long finish...what else could you want? I loved this. Very Burgundian compared to a lot of Chards I’ve had lately. Thanks to Andy. 92+.

Apricon, minerality and crisp tart apple on the nose. Zingy acidity and fruit with a nice mid-length stone finish. Some linger oak, not overly oaked or flabby though... Too thick in the back of the throat.

Cal Poly Pomona Wine Dinner (Kellogg Ranch - Pomona, CA): A very good wine with laser intensity. Crisp notes of lemon bars, guava, crushed minerals, and rose hips. 89-90 points.
