Wow, I didn’t expect this to be so vibrant at this age. Plenty of red fruit on the palate, strawberry and cherry, while there were earthy notes emanating from the glass, and a silky finish. The color was garnet. It reminded me of a love child between and older Rioja and Burgandy. Last bottle paired with a coffee rubbed beef tenderloin smoked on the Big Green Egg with pecan wood.

Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Sardinia and Sicily (@ RW): Red berries and some spiciness in the bouquet. On the palate beautiful freshness. Friendly and juicy fruits and fresh acidity. Round and friendly wine with some complexity. Maturity stage now and no hurry.

This was a bottle that after opening, you instantly regret opening it because it was so good and you opened it on a 'regular' night. So smooth and integrated. Drinking really strongly right now. Mellow fruit, light smoke, and the spice element is gone, but not missed; not that it was bad, when the wine was younger, its just mellowed out.
