Inky ruby colour. Concentrated, dark berry nose with a hint of licorice and earth. Firm tannins and a high acidity make this wine taste a lot younger than expected. Needs time to develop balance and interest. My first taste of a varietal Colorino, it has a lot in common with a Malbec from Cahors; I anticipate good things in its future. 3/5
