surprisingly still good (thought drinking window would be shorter) lively elegant fruity and fine mineral (gunpowder?) nose I found my bottle still had some nice acidity with decent typical almond finish went very well with bread, salame felino and cheese

Gasoline yellow in color (not a bad thing, just what comes to mind). Subtle nose with wet stone, grass, and apricot. Moderate acidity, ripe peach, and some minerality. Lemongrass and peach on the finish.
The finish and mid-palate are disappointing, and a little more acidity would have helped this wine out considerably. Not really flawed, just not impressive; though the "Kissing your sister," metaphor someone used earlier to describe this wine was not the impression I got. I think I would prefer drinking this wine over kissing my sister. Quite a bit, actually.
Drank slightly chilled with grilled herbed chicken breast.

Drinking this wine was like kissing my sister. Nothing offensive but nothing to get excited about. No flavors to describe. I was expecting so much more!

PnP. Clear, very light green/yellow tint. Fruity, good balance, great drinking window. A lovely wine that was enjoyed by all. Nothing off. $25

2009 LVMH Tasting at Elway's Cherry Creek (Denver, CO): A spicy nose and a medium + finish, but ultimately short on character and balance. The low acidity was a bit surprising. Simple.
