  Fresh and delicate with great minerality and acidity; falls behind Chery but is nevertheless a wonderful example of aging condrieu, no oxidation, no nonsense, hint of exotic fruit, a creamy fullness – the lightness of being is here.

Round, viscous texture on the palate with a combination of orchard and stone fruits. Plenty of acid so that the richness doesn't make it excessively weighty. Very, very good.   Dinner in Reno (Reno, NV): Deeply colored, dark yellow rim. On the nose all about mineral aromas, background viognier notes of stone fruits and florality, no barrique notes. On the palate dry, somewhat soft and very lush and full on the midpalate. A little out of balance with alcohol and full texture exceeding acidity though there is good intensity of flavor of moderately complex mineral aromas... frankly the wine has lost a bit of its best quality which is the intense and overt stone fruit and floral notes. Drink now.

  this is our last bottle..I would like to reiterate my note of 6/07..except that the wine has become more honeyed, and the nice acid has diminished somewhat..
