Last bottle and best. Garnet, no bricking. No sediment. Lively acidity, well balanced and elegant. Has developed interesting mature notes. Should continue to mature and drink well at least through end 2020.

Classy wine. Good with food. A little heavier than regular Chianti Classico, but not as heavy as a Riserva. Bright nose lifts from glass. Palate is medium bodied, sour cherries, smooth acidity, long finish. Drinking well now and should improve next year or two.

Deep maroon red. Not much besides alcohol on nose. Not decanted. Needs five or ten minutes in glass. Medium bodied with hint of dark cherry, plum, spice, truffle. Smooth, deep and elegant with firming acidity and hidden tannins. Should continue drinking well for 5+ years. But easy to enjoy and appreciate right now.

Same as 6 months ago. Layered, medium to full bodied Chianti. Slight truffle on finish after 30 minutes. Drink now and over next year.

Bright, wafting nose. Some truffle on palate with mellow acidity. Good on its own and with grilled steak, roasts or veal milanese.
