This is a clear pale ruby colour, a clean nose with medium intensity. Aromas of rasberries and cherries. Dry, meduim acid, medium tannin, and a light body. Flavours of plum, cherry, and some blackcurrant leaf. A medium finish, and a good wine. This is a fun, cheery wine. Not a lot of complexity, but very easy to drink, and a good experience at the price point (19.99 for a 1.5l)

House Warming Party Round 2 (St Johns, Auckland): dark garnet. dark fruits, good varietal characters. some fruity sweetness, ripe tannins. some greenish herbal notes, a little stem bitterness in finish. entry level Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (DOC), quite simple and rough one.
