Found another of these in my cellar and it turns out should have found it earlier. Still hanging on, but for sure seems to be getting a little light on fruit. Mature notes on the nose, some chocolate, dark cherry. Very nice on the nose. Palate has some sweet notes - more cherry and some chocolate, but for sure is drying out some with a dry very soft tannin finish. Decent enough finish. For a $30 wine, this was great and was hanging on better than expected.

Fruity nose of blueberries, cherries, currants, oak, spices, chocolates, peppercorn, dark coffee, tobacco leaf, earth and herbs.
Full bodied spicy and smooth with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, earth, dark coffee, wet leaves and peppercorn.
Spicy finish with fine grained tannins.
This 9 year old Merlot from Columbia Valley is very tasty now. Showing nice complexity with a soft, smooth mouthfeel.
Spicy and elegant. Tangy and interesting. Tastes like an aged California Cabernet.
Wine Enthusiasts 90 points.
Good right out of the bottle and better with some air time.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
A blend of 92% Merlot, 5% Syrah and 3% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels.
14.9% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
$40.

A touch sweet and flabby, but otherwise wonderful flavors of cassis, cigar box, graphite, vanilla and iron. Medium-full bodied, medium-minus acidity, well integrated and sweet tannins. Drink now!

Great fruit, most certainly cigar, and a tease of alcohol on the nose. Strong finish.

Seems to be in perfect drinking window now. Medium to full bodied, bold and rich fruit.
