All about the cherry fruit, which is nice. Not much else going on on the palate. Certainly full bodied and large scaled, but not overripe. or flabby. A little bit of tannic bite. Enough acid to keep it from being flabby. Crowd pleaser sort of wine.

Black currant and minerals on the nose, but just opened. Flowers, violets, but really dominated by red cherrry fruit on the palate. Very much tastes like a HHH wine to me. Sweetly fruited end but not overdoing it. Needs time to open.

Great Merlot. Spicy. Good tannins.

Open overnight, the powerful tannins have softened.
Still cherry dominant, acidity underlying this suggests it is worth holding a couple of years
