  I dont drink a lot of Merlot (not because of Sideways) but I thought this wine was a good medium bodied wine with ample fruit and went well with the pasta and red sauce. After a period of time the wine open and had a mix of fruit, chocolate and some mild earthyness. I read the label and found that this isnt simpley Merlot but a mix of Cab Sav, Cab Franc, and Malbec.
