  Holy moly this has developed well. My understanding is that this is actually Anden fruit FWIW. When I think think of Evesham Wood, I think of clean fruit. When I think of Anden, I often think dark and brooding. This wine is developed with flavors of pure berries. Awesome. Somewhere between red and black fruit. Seems to be in a great place right now with a few hours of air. Should easily go for another 5 years but if want to still get a bit of primary fruit, I would go for it now. I think this is a star of the vintage.

  Light red color with a blue tint around the edges. Nice aroma of red fruit and woods. Medium concentration. The taste is a perfect balance of red fruit and earth. Long pleasing aftertaste. A new world wine with a burgundian feel.

  2004 Evesham Wood 7 Springs & St Innocent 7 Springs Special Selection: This is very different than the SI Special Selection. The aromatics are very clean, sweet red fruit and a touch of glycerin. Very gentle and elegant. Would guess it as a Burg. The palate follows. This is not going to womp you on the head but I would not call it shy. Nice amount of ripe fruit and light oak. Tannins are very present. All the stuffing to age just fine. Won't revisit for at leas 3 years.
