Just a little brickish in color. The nose is reserved but showing a slightly smoky / earthy quality along with subtle dark fruits. With a bit more air, I detect a hint of brett on the nose. Tannins are smooth and refined with bright acidity. Medium weight with a pleasant finish though not very complex. This wine is fully mature and ready to drink now. Likely on the downward slope but should continue to provide drinking pleasure for a few more years.

Same as in Sept, with somewhat faded/oxidized fruit. Let's see after an hour of slow ox. Not bad, but should have opened 10 years ago.
Follow up note: Next day, much better and more balanced. Upped the score 2 points. Just like the last time.
