Similar to previous bottle. A bit on the sweet side for a Pinot Gris, but decent enough acidity to not seem flabby. Tasty and food friendly, but almost more reminiscent of a typical German off-dry Riesling than an Alsace Pinot Gris.

Bottle purchased at winery upon release and cellared since. Typical for the vintage, ripe with low acid. A bit out of balance tasting too sweet for the finish. Full bodied with a lingering finish, but not one that makes it better. Caramel notes. Muted aromatics. I should have drunk it younger but I keep avoiding my 2003's from Alsace.

Disappointing, but I am starting to question the storage conditions this came from. Pale color, faint aromas of green apple, faint flora aromas, lots of spice/oak on the nose but very shy. Acid and spice on the palate. Drink up.

Rich deep gold. Sherry and nutty aromas. Sweet, crunchy, very slight bitterness. Hazelnut flavors. Lacks some acidity, otherwise very good/delicious.

Just a touch of sweetness. Caramel notes and maybe just a bit soft on the acidity.
