  • Much thicker than the "standard" cuvee. Probably needs time. Incredibly complex and hard to describe. As with top White Hermitage, you can appreciate the quality, but its not everyones cup of tea. I´ll be buying more.

  • The wine is clear and bright with a pale lemon colour and presence of legs. The nose is faulty (SH2) and youthful. It shows medium intensity aromas of sewer (SH2), burnt sulfur (tio-ethyl acetate), lemon peel, lime, green apples and cedar. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has a medium alcohol and a medium(-) body. It has medium(+) intensity flavours of sewer, burnt sulfur, lemon peel, green apples and cedar. The finish is medium(+).

It is a poor quality wine. It has a relatively long finish, but this wine has a marked SH2 taint. I am sorry, but I don't buy wine defects as "typicity" or "terroir". It does not have potential for ageing, the SH2 will undergo further reduction phases and will end up stinking.
