Beautiful nose with flint, citrus and white flowers. When it was served blind, I thought its a Coche Dury Bourgogne. 2013 Lafon continues to impress across the lineup.

DIAM cork. Drank alongside the 2010. Super fresh and light in colour compared to the 2010. All citrus and energy on the palate with refreshing acidity. Tension and minerality in spades. Can drink or age further. Loved this.

Small supper at Noizé (Noizé, London): Match stick and undiluted Rose's lime cordial on pouring, this is a fabulous wine. The smoky reduction takes some time to clear - half an hour in a decanter would have helped the process methinks! As one of my co diners correctly marks real glycerol character to the nose too. Palate has glorious structure, a very subtle pepperiness and a lime blossom (Linden/Tilleul) character. Lovely

Citrus, salt and some well integrated elevage notes (nuts). Lean and long, not a lot of flesh on the bones. Very good for the level, still on the young side.
