Deep ruby. Black fruit, cedar nose. Well balanced, tannins well integrated. Still drinking really well, penultimate bottle. I’d still give it a couple more years.

Purple and medium bodied. Meaty and floral on the nose with a distinct grape aroma. Nice structure with soft, but still vibrant tannins. Dark fruit forward with medium finish and good balance

A pretty unknown grape from Valencia region in Spain, Mando and the more well known Monastrell. Aged for 14 months in terracotta amphoras that are buried underground. No oak used. The color is beatiful deep ruby red. Nose is with ripe red fruits, ripe cherries, red plums. Has also a licorice side. Palate is round and balanced. Nice balance between ripeness, acidity and tannins. Loong finish and very nice drinking experience. Liked it a lot. A very nice discovery.

Tasted again 5/6 years later, still drinkable, flattened out a bit, but still ok.
