A wine that caters to the contemporary pallet I reckon, but none the less a very enjoyable wine. Light and fresh, with a lot of cooked strawberries, red currants and fermented red apples. A nice, polished finish with white pepper rounds it up. Ancient varieties Arcos and Mandó builds this blend, with the fermentation process happening in amphoras. I will admit that Valencia is new grounds for me, but this quick visit was intriguing and I will be sure to stay in touch.
