Light straw yellow. Nose of green apple and lemon with a hint of peach. Fine bubbles, the flavour is green apple, but not too crisp and a mineral finish.

Have to admit I was skeptical when it comes to sparkling Vouvray. Even the ones from famous Vouvray/Loire producers disappointed me often: tart, lean, alcoholic and a lot of time, oxidative (bruised apple notes). Makes me wonder if they used the grapes that didn't make the cut for their dry or sweet Vouvray. So I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Appearance: pale lemon, very fine bubbles, if a bit too vigorous. On the nose, fruity, notes of white flower, hint of yeast. On the palate, soft, creamy, medium plus acidity. Medium plus length with mineral note at the end. Soft and delicate. Lovely as it is, probably won't age too well as it doesn't have the structure of a good Champagne. But for the price, a no-brainer.

It won many awards as per the label. Note of sweet chenin on the nose and then a touch of the buscit, a touch of the angular waxy.

Very nice sparkler with a touch of sweetness on the finish. Was a big hit with the ladies tonight.
