  Courtesy of our hosts, decanted off its sediment and served. Shows its age having a reddish brown color to core. Sous bois, tea leaf and subtle fruit- dusty cherry. More of the same on the palate; a little lean and clearly already well past peak though still interesting and not without a certain charm.
