  Nebbiolo Tasting (Tim and Elliott's Place, San Francisco): A bit of bricking/garnet which is surprising for its age; aromatic, significant VA, slight chemical note, almost like banana candy; palate is light bodied, rough high tannin, some underlying strawberry fruit, high acidity; short finish. Not flawed, since the VA somehow works, but the short finish and relative lack of complexity compared to other wines tonight hold this back. 88

  VinItaly Day 2 (Verona, Italy): Pretty rose, paler rim; deep flora, super fresh, soil, cherry, strawberry; sweet fruit on palate, floral, nice structure; delicious.
