  • Lovely bright clear colour of translucent lemon; good clear lift on the nose of lemon and mineral, not complex with nice acidity; this is repeated on the palate, which is quite dry and, to me at least, rather reminiscent of a minor Chablis. A good wine, very refreshing with clean notes, and some mouth feel, but just a little uninteresting.

  • Coravin sample. Just in the beginning of the drinking window. Takes some 30-40 min in the glass to open up and seems to have some 4-5 years to go if not more.
Wait another year or two. If drinking now - best to chill to fridge temperature, and allow at least 20-30 minutes to warm up and breath in the glass. By the time it's ready to drink, it should reach the ideal temperature of 10C or so.
Lovely St Aubin 1er Cru that would fare well in comparison to some of the better known neighbours Chassagne and Pugligny Montrachet.
Quite a bargain this one is. Described as Burgundy's best value village for a reason.
92 +1 point for value for money.
