Really nice wine combining a bit of the richness and expressive floral components of the blend but with a touch of stony crunchy backbone. Not as rich or ripe as many similar blends, more engaging. Nice balance. Wish there were more of these.

Light 10K gold. Floral and oily-herby elements on the nose. My earlier note that this shows some viognier character holds true. Seems a bit tight tonight. A year or two more in the cellar may do this wine some good. Needs to flesh out a bit. (87)

Gold, verging just a bit towards amber. Picking up in richness, but still fresh with good acidity. In the sweet spot of its drinking window.

Monthly Tasting Group: Northern Rhones (Lela, Bloomington MN): Pale gold color. Drank a glass over an hour. The nose shows citrus, lean, white peach, a little green. The palate is more citrus, green, lean.
