This clean and refreshing Chardonnay is eminently enjoyable - and a solid value. Light yellow in color with a silver hue; light in body; nose of grapefruit and orange peel. Tastes of lemon, quince, and minerals, with a soft yet lifted finish. 14.2% alcohol. I've served this at parties and had tremendous feedback. Although I've soured on Hanzell's mainline offerings over the past few years, I am always impressed by the Sebella; it may be a bit straightforward, but it is also pure and delicious.

The Sebella bottling of Hanzell's Chardonnay is fermented in stainless steel and aged in used oak barrels. With a beautiful core of citrus, green apples, wet stones and melon, this straw-colored, light-to-medium bodied white delivers its payload in a freshly acidic frame. Seamless alcohol (14.2%), subtle oak, a dense mid-palate and lengthy finish make this wine a winner. This Burgundian-styled Chardonnay is holding up nicely and should show well throughout the remainder of this decade. Drink now-2020.

This straw-colored wine flaunts citrus, green apple, wet stone and melon aromas and flavors. Light-to-medium bodied, freshly acidic and with nicely integrated alcohol (14.2%), it delivers its flavors with subtle oak, has good mid-palate density and finishes with impressive length. A very "Burgundian" white, this is entirely consistent with Hanzell's style. Drink now-2019.

Superb minimally oaked Chardonnay with ample classic lemon citrus notes, hints of yeast and a wonderful balance and finish. Worth buying and finding.
