Yes this would have benefited from a few further yea s of cellaring but with a casserole simmering along on the stove and winter rain falling outside we felt this would be a nice one to crack open. Gorgeous nose of red and black currant, cedar and even bay leaves, yum. Well rounded, medium to full bodied palate and a smooth, long finish. The tannins are there to give this a long life ahead, but smooth enough to offer a lot of joy right now. Definitely a great option for the cellar, wish I had a case of these to enjoy over the next two decades.
