This is The Real McCoy. Abundance of fruit, blackberry galore, good sweetness, tannin, some alcohol, spce, mint, but the balance is impeccable. Extremely young and tight - while drinkable with a good steak. #podcast

2 hours post-decant: Med-dark ruby/purple. Nascent and primary aromas of sweet blackberries blueberries, black currants, cedary oak and spice box. Full-bodied, this is finely textured with a finishes that gains in intensity. There's a long saline streak on the finish and mouth-watering acidity!
5 hours post-decant: Loads of creme de cassis on the nose I neglected to mention before. Burning tobacco as well. So mouth-filling and filigreed. This is delicious yes, but it's all about the details. Given the concentration and acidity, this will need years to unfurl. Try again at age 10. My first experience with this wine but it seems as if it's not showing nearly all it has yet. Drink 2028-2038+ 94-96
Next Day: This has mellowed somewhat. This is still fine and filigreed with a long life ahead of it, but I'm just unsure as to its final destination (except that it will be a very fine wine, but legendary, I'm not sold). Loaded with baking spices.
