Deep color. Lots of black and blue fruits in the nose, plums, cherries, blackberries, raspberries and leather with hints of spice. Jammy fruit in the flavor, blackberries, black cherries and spice. Well balanced, great mouthfeel and nice acidity. A full bodied zinfandel with a long finish.

Deep purple color. Big, voluptuous dark fruits. Inky, intense flavors coat the palate in this predominately Syrah (42%) and Zinfandel (54%) wine - there seems to be some competition between the two varietals rather than a union of flavors. The 15.3% alcohol level is very present. There are some hidden smoke and minerality nuances being shadowed. This wine likely needs a lot more time or to be drunk on a nice, cold night.
p.s. kolaches and leftovers

Waited too long. Now, these are way over-priced compared to Bedrock & Carlisle.

It’s past. I waited too long. Not much left but a raisiney pruney hot mess.
