FWS Languedob Roussillon Class (La Caille): Banyuls also seems to offer such amazing values! Sadly notes were not taken, but this was delicious and already drinking well, but could likely go another 15 years

Very pleasant dessert wine, my first Banyuls; nose has plum, hints of raisin, dried blackberry, and some floral notes and just a hint of chocolate. The palate is sweet and rich, but has just enough acidity to keep it from feeling syrupy. Overall quite enjoyable. Would buy again.

Excellent pairing with chocolate Tort at LaV in Austin, TX. Smooth, balanced structure, with hints of sweet prunes and molases. Very much like a 20 year Tawny port. Much recommended
