Decanted briefly. Chewy tannins, Cab Franc prominent with fine herbs and slightly bitter stone on the palate along with dark, rich, savory fruit. Lacked a bit of integration that may have smoothed out with more air or maybe not. I do love this cuvee.

Decanted for 30 min through a coffee filter with LOTS of fine to medium sediment removed. Took 20 minutes to pass through the filter. Typical bevan, with loads of fruit. drinking well right now.

PnP and it was good to go. Nose a bit shy with Cassis and a flinty/gun-powder notes. Herbaceous and perfumed in the mouth, with Lavender, Rhubarb, and lots of red (red currants, cherry) and blue fruits. Full-bodied with mostly resolved tannins and fine acidity to keep things in balance. I would say it has a good 3-4 years year left if cellared well. Have one more bottle that I will consume during that time period. Great wine.

1 hour decant maybe needed more maybe not.....Has not developed as well as I expected. Now at year 12 it is completely unresolved and quite “sharp” on the front and mid palate. Almost a “dessert” wine with a syrupy texture, more than grippy tannins and sadly an off-putting edge which persists to the front of the finish. Back end of finish is lovely.
Reasonably palatable but not a wine to search out unless you like heavily extracted juice
