  The cork broke upon popping so it had to be pushed into the bottle and the content was filtered into a decanter. Tons of sediment. Initially felt quite tired but with one hour of airtime started to gain some composure. On the nose funky notes (cooked vegetables) and a whiff of tar. Light bodied, smooth, tannins almost completely resolved, a bit of fruit left and pleasant funky notes with decent acidity. A little tired but still delivering some pleasure.
