PnP, and decant. Stunner. Total drop the mic moment. She's all there. Amazing with Berkshire bone-in pork chops. My previous 93 was an insult. Drink now.

Deep ruby red. Lots of dark fruits on the nose like plums and a bit of cinnamon and vanilla. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Velvety texture on the palate with dark fruits, dark cocoa, vanilla and caramel. Long finish. Delicious to see how these will develop over a couple years. Drink till 2028.

Pretty much the same as six months ago. Previous notes apply. A little tight and less giving in terms of the immediacy of fruit. I wasn't getting a whole lot of personality from this little chameleon this time around. Hold for another year in hopes "something" happens with this wine that is a little more interesting.
92-93 points this time. It is crafted fairly well; it just ends up leaving me a little blasé about the whole thing. The new mountain Cabernets coming out of Boich (Howell and Wall Road) are the superior wines in comparison.
This GIII was served next to a 2013 Myriad Cabernet, which presented much better.

No formal notes. Lots of fruit and jam without much in the way of structure and complexity. I enjoyed this for what it was - a nice cocktail wine that can be enjoyed by itself as a form of dessert. When you compare it to a GIII from another brand like Myriad, it falls far short. I don't expect this to get much better based on this one bottle.
