  • Winemaker luncheon 2004 (Cafe Juanita): My last bottle. The nose on this wine is packed with acacia flowers and stone fruits. Hints of orange and spice co-mingle with subtle peach, pear and some of the most beautiful floral notes I've ever smelled in a wine. Some mistook this wine a Gewerztraminer (I think b/c of the spice), but it doesn't have the rose component on the nose. As time passes the wine continues to unfold into what is, for me, beautiful muscat. Totally dry on the palate, great acidity and length.

  • I love muscat, so needless to say this is a great hot weather wine. The nose has beautiful aromatics of flowers and spice, but nothing sweet. On the palate, this wine is totally dry with beuatiful balance and length. I bought a half case, and the rest will be gone by September. I enjoyed this wine with a spinach leaf salad topped with oranges, goat cheese and pine nuts. Not a wine to miss if you like Muscat.
