Excellent example of Loire cab franc. Tobacco leaf and sweet berries jump out of the glass with just a whiff of barnyard that eventually blew off completely. Terrific structure as the remains of the bottle sat open on the counter for 3 days and were even better than the first evening. No rush here.

I did not decant, but poured a glass and let it sit for about 30 minutes before tasting. My first impression was horseradish (typical for me and cab franc) and bell peppers, that gets washed away by a big wave of mixed berry torte and leather. The palate comes across fruitier, but then I get some radish and cinnamon on the long finish. The wine is still juicy, the tannins are slightly hard.

Overall, the same as above, but the finish was green and bitter at first…this was mitigated by a little aeration. Back to deliciousness

Tasted non-blind and immediately identifiable as Picasses. Not the best vintage of Olga, but I don’t think I’ve had a better example of 2012 Chinon yet. Graphite and herbs dominate and it pairs well with beef stew. Verdict: very good effort in a subpar vintage.

Fading garnet with some orange hues in the glass.

第一次,开瓶一小时后最好。不绿。类似liqueur的感觉,水果挺丰满。不错,不一样的风格。三次,最后一次CF的特征最明显。这是个很有特色的酒,但实在不太喜欢。
