Fully developed nose with medium intensity. Aromas of moldy strawberry, dried red fruit, wet soil, decaying leaves, mushrooms, black tea and smoke.
Medium bodied with medium(+) acidity and medium(-) tannins. Medium intensity with dried red berries, wet soil, tobacco, mushroom and forest floor. A bit hollow and dried out. Medium(-) finish.
This wine had lots of similarities with the 1976 Denoune Bertrand Chassagne-Montrachet that I tasted one and a half year ago. So I was mighty surprised when the bottle was revealed. The guy who brought the bottle told us that previous bottles of this wine also tasted like this. So, this wine is probably just not have the quality one would expect from a Clos de Béze or they've been stored in a bad way. Therefore no rating.

200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Light and fragrant but also quite advanced. Decent, rather than great.

Same bottle as @Appel. Had 3 bottles of this, one corked the other two way over the hill. There seem to be something wrong with this bottling.

Något fel på flaskan då vinet mer eller mindre klappat ihop.
