  • 1 of 2, under DIAM 5. Served at 15C
Pale/med garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose is slightly retiecent at first, opening a touch, raspberries and touch of plu, white pepper, spice. Medium bodied, again a little quietly spoken, raspberries, white pepper, spice, tannins are quite supple, fresh acids, medium-good length finish, touch of grip on tail end. Drinking well though and enjoyable enough, probably one to consume in next 5 uyears or so.

  • Coravin sample from 2018 but the bottle still fresh. Fairly pale with some browning. Nose reminds me of apple and blackberry crumble. Some fruit and spice but now soft, verging on sweet despite the lack of evident fruit ripeness.

  • Medium to light body. Vibrant red colour but starting to brick at the rim some development on the nose but still largely about the cherry fruit sprinkled with just a touch of warm spice. Juicy, cleansing waves of acidity makes it super easy to drink. A little textural tannin still, could keep for longer, you may not want to.

  • Opened & served. Initially gruff & serious, this opened up & show some of the MH silky accessibility. Never frivolous, this shows plenty of Gevrey oomph & character. Can be left alone for a while.
