(14.9%) 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot , 3% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc – Covering five of the six varietals allowed in Bordeaux this blend is dark, nearly opaque, in the glass. Gorgeous, big layered nose with dark brambly fruit, clove spice and much more. Dense and rich on the palate with blueberry and blackberry fruit with a bit of bramble that lingers into a finish that was a bit shorter than hoped. An unapologetically new world wine that hits that is perhaps just a bit to overripe for me. Pair with a juicy steak (or rich foods as it will overpower many) or a cigar.

PnP. Medium body, fruit forward. Enjoyable. Not developing any further. Drink now

Notes are consistent with previous tasting except the fruit seemed more mellow then last time.
