Color: deep ruby Nose: plum, earth, black cherry Taste: plum, leather, black cherry, blackberry a bit of floral perfume This wine has plenty of fruit upfront with plum, dark cherry, a hint of flowers, anise and chocolate. Finish is medium - good mid palate then disappears. Enjoyable wine pairs perfectly with flat iron steak. Ad Hoc Yountville.

Bought a bottle at Perry's in Lone Tree, CO. PnP, A fairly perfumed nose with dark currant, blackberry, cherry, on the hot side. Time in the glass allowed the perfume to fade. The palate is sweet, with noticeable tannins and some acidity. This is a young wine that needs several hours of decant time or three or so years of cellar time. The makings of a better wine are here.
