Very lively high-altitude Malbec (2700 meters!) that we bought at the estate and brought home through Bolivia and Peru. No oak (fermented in steel). Whiffs of mocha and chocolate, palate of blackberries and boysenberry, a hint of fennel. Refreshing acidity and freshness, really lovely

Megamoon Part VI: Salta (Argentina); 11/5/2015-11/9/2015 (Cafayate, Molinos, Cachi, and Salta): Single vineyard wine from the Colome Estate this wine is made with almost no intervention (no oak, no filtering, handmade although did use destemmer). It is mostly fruit flavors - plum and grape. I think a very interesting wine, but I preferred the Reserva and the Estate more. This is for drinking now.
