Absolutely delicious. Captivating aromas and lovely complexity on the palate: Juicy rich, pure fruits with subtle savouriness, spiciness, black tea. Elegant, classy.

At first a deep earthy and rustic nose with Vosne spices. On the palate the wine was a fair bit of dry and dusty; with unripe tannins and bitterness; cutting short the unbalanced raw finish. Not an exciting bottle! A wine that reflects the vintage ?

Leiden at the end of summer: Very elegant nose, silky, sweet, red fruit, others described it to be a typical Rouget nose. Concentrated taste, velvet fruitiness, some sweetness, soft tannins. In the background some 2004 greenness. Finish a bit short, maybe due to these green tones. A difficult wine to rate, on the one hand lovely material, on the other hand a bit of the little green monster...If the green stuff integrates in future it should get another 2 points extra.
