  • I haven’t had this before but tastes like it is just entering the early window of pleasure. Very Rouget-like marrying decadence, elegance and complexity, particularly on the fantastic nose. There is still the 05 structure to resolve, but this should get better as it sheds that cloak. I think it’s an overused phrase, and often incorrectly so, to say a wine will be better in 5-10 years, but here the fruit is already compelling and there’s clear line of sight to this being a great wine over the next decade.
