Nose initially with some 04 coolness and green character, after 2 h more deep and earthy with fine red berries. The mouth is after 2 h quite fleshy and rich, more so than I'd expect of an 04, satifying aftertaste. Tannins are soft but overall there is a nice grip; this is probably at peak now, but doesn't seem to be in a hurry to be drunk up.

Had at Christmas 2012 ny. Red brick tint. Fresh red fruit nose. Interesting combo of sour cherry with plummy tastes underneath. Everything I want burgundy to be.

Last bottle of 6. Seems older in colour with marked bricking at the edges. Fully open nose with some tertiary aromas of undergrowth, leaves, but also red fruit and freshness. On the palate it is open and sweet, fully resolved tannins, medium body, short finish. As expected apart from the colour. Good timing to drink up I think.

Straightforward mature Burgundy with nice wooden notes and red fruit. Good balance, drinking well now.

Classic burgundy, mature nose with tertiary aromas. Good balance, plum fruit characteristics. Medium long. Somewhat one-dimensional. Ready to drink.
