Unusual amount of crispness and citrus on the nose. I don't think the other bottles I have had had this crispness or amount of citrus on the nose. Color was a pale straw. The warmer the wine got in the glass, the more there was grassiness on the palate.

Fourth of six bottles. Looking forward to ordering the 06. Color was light straw; nose had some lemon zest and maybe pear at times; palate was citrus and some white fruit. Had with white stilton w/apricot cheese. After some time the palate had some grapefruit zest on it.

Tasted November 15, 2006 at an offline. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose smells like weeds. Beyond that maybe a little grass to go with those weeds. Toss a grapefruit in there just for the fun of it. If I knew what grass tasted like I’d say it tasted like grass as well. Light acidity and light body. This is why most most producers in Napa Valley shouldn’t produce Sauvignon Blanc.

Dallas OL Il Sole (Il Sole, Dallas): A bit of herb mixed in with the crisp finish. A bit off, but interesting.
