Light berry fruit—blackberry, blueberry, plum—but not “sweetish” at all. Not a particularly mouth-filling wine. Very sedate tannin. Typical syrah savoriness mid-palate. Mid-length finish that seems to extract a bitter flavor. An OK, but not an aspirational, wine.

Plum, dark fruit, oak on the nose with some pepper. A bit more of a reserved style with a tad more acidity. It showed more of a "meaty" profile on the second night with a little bit of chocolate and minerals also present. Tannins are fairly round, but were hidden by some soft gouda cheese.

A bit thin especially on night 1, after a couple nights under vacuvin, seemed a bit fuller, but still not memorable and no structure to speak of to progress. drink now

Vinturi'ed & decanted for 1.5 hrs. Medium dark fruit nose. Medium + body with vibrant dark fruit & plum tastes. Initially had a big, long peppery finish that softened after the first glass. Representative of a Sonoma style Syrah.

A very deep Syrah, with great color, nose and complexity.
