  • As usual with Fourrier, the 2013 Clos Vougeot has a touch of integrated CO2 and benefits from a quick double decant, as the carbon dioxide is evident on the palate and finish. Pretty nose shows red Pinot fruit and soil tones. Richer in style than usual for this producer, with a bit of a tannic grip suggesting further bottle age. From the Maupertuis lieu-dit.

  • Bright red Pinot fruit rests on an earthy soil base and subtle oak influence. Vibrant and dense, the 2013 Clos Vougeot is juicy today but will benefit from medium term aging. Drink starting 2022.
