Nice. High typicity (far as to what I expect in a good PN). Rich nose, red berries. Red berries on the palate as well. Soft tannins, but some fresh acidity to balance things up. Lingering finish, picking up some strawberries. Even better day two.

Impressive power, complexity and charm for a 2nd time round tasting.
Nose....intense liqourice, espresso, baccy, wood, some spice, fruit still fresh.
Taste.....A little tannic grip. Lovely Burgundian rustic farmyard style, unusual for NZ Pinot which, in better bottles, can be smoother and more rich/silken. Brambles, hedgerow. Finishes dry.
VFM? Drinking like a £25 pinot.

Screw cap. Drunk at ambient room temperature. Not decanted.
Impressive - and unusual - Marlborough Pinot Noir that is drinking well enough right now at 5 years age. Silky smooth, with a nice rustic bramble almost-barnyard 'French' style, different from most Marlb' Pinot Noirs. Easy-drinking floury tannins, enough acidity, good core of powerful flavours of warm spice, wood, classy fruit. 'Fine' wine but with a charming rustic edge. Body feels fuller than it looks.
Colour....very alcoholic. Light-medium body. Not dense.
Nose....a big nose, great fruit, spices, wood, a nice 'dusty' character, 'interesting' and different for a NZ Pinot.
Cellar....probably improve, it has some power.
VFM....at around £22.00 it's not cheap. Class costs. Worth it's price.

Floral, spicy, notes of undergrowth on the nose. Fresh, good grip, pure fruit, approachable, not overly complex, good length. 89-91
