  • Check in bottle. Still rocking, but suggest drink within few years. Dark red/blue and black fruit, velvety tannins, Oaxacan raw chocolate, espresso on finish, really smooth mouthfeel and very good length. Suggest serving this slightly chilled and then let it open up in glass, bottle and over a couple of hours - if it lasts that long! Really great find.

  • 14.5% abv. 100% Tempranillo. Dark red/plum with light rim. Very viscous in glass, slow red staining of tears. No decant, upon pnp: violets, pomegranate, blueberries, dark chocolate. Full and typical Spanish texture in mouth, initially leaner and rustic but quickly softens to a long mellow finish. Starts with black fruit, turns to black olive tapenade, Asian spices, anise. Bought 3 btls at RHW 25th anniversary - good value.
